Douglas Mays, Superintendent
Lakeview School District
Over the past three years of my tenure at Lakeview, the district's Board and administration have developed a positive working relationships with Eckles. With any question or concern we have raised throughout a building process, they have been sensitive and responsive to our needs. Eckles representatives have been willing to meet and discuss every phase throughout a project without reservation. They understood the business of education how school districts operate, which allows them to anticipate problems before they occur.
Dr. Bille Rondinelli, Superintendent
South Fayette Township School District
Financial concerns and fiscal responsibility were of primary importance regarding the project. The project was under budget and, as stated, on time. The district experienced an exceptionally low amount of negative change orders and certain determinations resulted in some favorable change order credits. Eckles was/is extremely supportive and competent in the preparation of language and materials for the: Plan Con Process Submissions and Requirements; Act 34 Hearing; Facilitation of the Act 34 Hearing; Ground-Breaking Ceremony; and the Qualified School Construction Bond (QSCB) Requirements.
Michael Omatick, Jr., Director of Buildings and Grounds
Connellsville Area School District
Eckles Architecture and Engineering was contacted by the school district to develop plans and specifications to renovate and reconfigure an existing junior high school into an elementary school. Eckles Architecture & Engineering worked closely with the school district to minimize the amount of demolition, to reduce costs, in order to convert the facility to an elementary school. The project was completed within the budget and on time.
