Job Opening: Architect

The Candidate must be able to apply sound and diverse knowledge of architectural principles and practices in a broad array of assignments and related fields. He or she must be able to oversee projects from start to finish, supervise project team members, prepare design and construction documents using CAD software and be the point of contact for clients and consultants, while exhibiting responsibility for accuracy and timeliness of work projects.

  • Consult with Supervisor regarding unusual complexities and developments
  • Plan, direct and supervise architectural aspects of report, design or construction projects
  • Supervise, coordinate and review work of consultants and engineers
  • Execute complex or novel assignments requiring development and implementation of new or improved techniques and procedures
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of finished plans, specifications or approval of materials and construction
  • Attend Owner / Architect / Contractor meetings throughout the duration of the project, including during construction
  • Willing to travel
  • Knowledge of CAD drafting software and ability to prepare design and construction documents using software
  • Apply the applicable industry codes and standards to architectural work performed




  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture


  • Professional registration as a licensed Architect is preferred
  • LEED accredited professional is preferred


  • 5 years of experience in an architectural practice, working towards licensure or licensed architect, with 1+ years demonstrating skills as a project architect and/or project manager on small to medium-sized projects.


  • REVIT mastery in creating and/or developing construction documents
  • AutoCAD experience with developing construction documents
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Accurate attention to detail in all matters technical and project process related
  • IBC or similar building code and standards knowledge
  • Shop drawing and submittal review and processing experience
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point) proficiency
  • MasterSpec or similar standard specification section compilation and editing experience a plus
