Why Hire US:
Whether the project is a large or small job Eckles Designers ensure that the interior spaces are functional and safe, yet inviting and creative. We begin our process by meeting individually with the owner, and/or the owner’s representatives to develop a scope for the project. The discussions between the Designers and end-users are key to creating successful interior spaces. We approach our projects in a manner that tries to incorporate local aspects of the area into the Interior Design of the spaces of the buildings we design. This may be achieved by creating an architectural element that represents an item indigenous to the area such as a silo, a streetscape of building facades, or a reading tree. It may be through the design of a digital wallcovering reflecting the past, present, and future of the area or the people of the area. Our Interior Designers are very focused on the end-users of the spaces and how the environments we design stimulate the users of these spaces.
Then we start our design schematics by producing layouts in floorplan format and/or 3-dimension to help you visualize your spaces. We utilize our CAD program along with enhancements from supporting graphic programs to convey our ideas. These layouts incorporate fixed and movable furnishing and equipment that will be in each space of the building. We create these schematics based upon the clients’ feedback of desires for each space. Once this phase of the project is complete we move to the construction document phase of the project. During this portion of the project we are taking on many tasks to produce a complete set of drawings that can be given to a contractor to provide the owner a price to build the project. During this phase we are typically developing a color scheme, selecting finish materials, coordinating with consultants, selecting furniture, detailing millwork, designing ceiling material layouts, developing floor and wall graphics, and executing details to convey to a contractor how to build or provide these items.
Designers are involved with the project from start to finish. We are charged with providing a level of service that meets your needs, whatever those might be. The role of the Interior Designer encompasses a broad spectrum of tasks that coincide with the work of many individuals on the project, from engineers, casework and millwork manufacturers, to acousticians and furniture manufacturers, as well as finish material manufacturers and equipment suppliers just to name a few. Eckles Designers provide a high level of service that coincides with the standard level of care that our firm incorporates into the design of each building we are hired to complete. The Designers are committed to providing you with a finished product that addresses life safety, wellness, and the quality standards recognized by the profession. We look at each projects’ needs and evaluate what key components are necessary to address. When we are designing a space we are taking into consideration individual area needs, as well as, overall facility needs all the while keeping in mind form, function and budget.
