On June 11, 2012, Eckles Architecture & Engineering, Inc. was selected by the Frazier School District to propose improvements or replacement to the 1970s era Perry Elementary School in Perryopolis, PA. This project will develop a school design that will meet the District’s needs as identified by the school board and administration.
Eckles has proposed options that involve the renovation of the existing Perry Elementary and the addition of a new middle school wing as well as an option to replace the current K-5 building with a new K-8 school. Each concept plan addresses the needs for classroom space, special activity spaces, outdoor play areas and modified parking to accommodate additional students and faculty.
The board has established a budget goal for construction cost of $20 million. Eckles will continue to refine these options and develop more detailed solutions as the project proceeds over the coming months.
